At Tripemco Insurance Group, we’re focused on creating great relationships with our clients, partners, and the community at large. We know the unique needs of our customers and leverage our longstanding relationships with Canada’s leading insurance providers to provide our clients with robust coverage at competitive pricing.
We believe that it is our responsibility to take actionable steps to make a direct impact in the growth and prosperity of our home in the Greater Hamilton Area and support a number of important causes in our community. We are a proud sponsor of the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) and provide funding that is needed to send children to camp and to ensure that the accessibility and quality of their facilities are up to date.
Tripemco also works with the Hamilton Catholic Diocese to provide food, warm clothing and shelter to the local homeless community through support of the St. Eugene De Mazenod Church Door Outreach Program. Our annual Amici Cup golf tournament’s proceeds directly support the program and have been able to contribute over $50,000 in donations since its inception.
We believe every child deserves the chance to experience the positive impact that sports provide in skill and social development. Our sponsorship of the Hamilton Mighty Football Factory provides underprivileged children with the ability to participate by supplying the needed funds to cover the cost of participation.
We approach our work with open opportunities and minds.
Tripemco Insurance Group’s journey began on March 7, 1983, led by three young, hardworking individuals: Paul Vaccarello, Emilio Grimaldi, and Mike Gravina, who collectively inspired our name, TriPEMco.
Tripemco began as a small full-service insurance brokerage offering home, auto, and commercial business insurance products. The company quickly opened offices in Toronto, Burlington, London, and St. Catharine’s, making them one of the largest independently owned brokerages in the area.
In 1985, Tripemco Life Insurance Agency was established, providing individual life products as well as group benefits plans. In 2001, the name of this division was changed to Tripemco Financial Services Inc. In 2011, Paul’s son Vincent joined the business, answering phones, filing papers, and working alongside longtime bookkeeper, the late Darlene Bibby, and the accounting team.
Paul and his executive team of Vincent Vaccarello (President), Anthony Domenici (Managing Partner), Ralph Vitello (Senior Vice-President), Anna Bonomo (Operations Manager) and Karyn Oshmera (Controller), have grown Tripemco into one of the most established independently owned brokerages in Ontario.
The future is bright as Tripemco continues to expand its innovative commercial insurance and financial product strategies and affirms its commitment of being trusted advisors to its clients.
