Dan Lavigne has 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on the construction sector. He specializes in insurance and risk management solutions for equipment driven operations, which includes specialty insurance program development, and policy audits and improvements. Dan is an expert in completing comprehensive risk assessments to fully evaluate all aspects of the operations of a business, including facilities, equipment, and employees. This thorough process allows for a deep understanding of a company, which ultimately results in catered products and enhanced protection.
Working closely with his clients’ management teams, Dan has reviewed contracts, developed specialized underwriting techniques and risk management approaches, and placed coverage for complex multi-million dollar initiatives such as Hebron Project and West White Rose Project.
His advice includes self-insured retention strategies and other alternative risk transfer methods and techniques.
